Stereolithography (SLA) is one of the earliest and most widely used 3D printing technologies. Our custom SLA printing service builds parts layer by layer using photopolymer resin, with a high-power UV laser focused on the printing platform to cure the material layer upon layer.
SLA technology offers a wide range of material options and, when paired with CAD designs, produces parts with exceptional precision and superior surface finish. Parts require support structures during the printing process, which are removed once the SLA 3D printing is complete. SLA is particularly well-suited for prototyping and small-batch production.
SLM (Selective Laser Melting) is an industrial-grade metal 3D printing technology. Its core advantage over SLS and DMLS is full powder melting, producing parts with nearly 100% density and complex geometries unachievable by other processes. It is typically applied in aerospace applications.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an industrial-grade 3D printing technology that uses nylon (PA 12) material to produce precise, durable parts. Widely applied in both prototyping and end-part production, SLS shares the layer-by-layer building principle with other 3D printing technologies, using powdered materials as the base feedstock.
Thanks to the flexibility of powder-based printing, SLS 3D printed parts can form complex geometries without the need for support structures.
